While taking a variety of photos throughout the week’s field trips, I noticed that I was most intrigued by the people. I wanted to capture their expressions, whether it be their faces, actions, or clothes. I especially liked photographing people smiling because one of the most refreshing parts of the summer is feeling joy. Most of these images I shot in a bright environment, which accentuates the bright nature of summer. I was also drawn to people’s colorful outfits and demeanor. The ways they pose and dress, I consider “style.” So now I present my theme for this body of work which is “Summer Smiles and Styles.”
